About Mr. Jelinek
Tom Jelinek taught music for four years at Weston Public Schools in Cazenovia, WI. He came to Utica in the fall of 2001. He teaches Elementary Music, Jr. and Sr. high choir, and chimes.
Tom married his wife, Rose, on August 2, 1986. They have four children: Matt, Alesia, Pavel, and Roman. When he’s not busy teaching music, he is actively running one of the many great family-run dairy farms of Wisconsin.
What Mr. Jelinek loves about teaching at Utica
“First of all, I love that UCS is a safe, caring, Christ-honoring environment. Second, I love that I can teach music that is Christ-honoring. I don’t have to be worried about being threatened with a lawsuit because of the music choices I make in the classroom.”
Mr. Jelinek enjoys directing the Choir and Men’s Group at the Bible Baptist Church of Utica. He is also involved with the special music by singing solos and duets with his wife.
